Dutch Linen Tape - Made in England
These linen tapes are very, very old. Each is wound around a wooden core, and secured with a small pin. The bundle is wrapped with a glossy white label, printed in gold. The label says this is "Dutch Maiden [brand], Linen Tape No. 1, English Make." One of the labels is different, has a crown on it, and reads "Dutch Linen, Made in England."
These have been stored for decades; over the years, the portions tape not protected by the wrapper became darkened. I believe this will soak out. Please click the small photo at left to see a detailed photo. The tape is approximately 3/8" inch wide. I have not unpinned one to measure, but counting the number of folds, each package appears to cards 2.5 to 3 yards of tape.
These are extremely scarce these days! But, we have 9 of them for you at $8 each.

	White English Superfine Twilled Tape - 1/2" White This spool of English Superfine twilled tape is a creamy white, measuring 6 yards, 13 inches long, on its original spool. Several very small age spots throughout, else fine. Buy the whole 6-yard spool, for $6.00. SOLD
	English Superfine Twilled Tape - Square Pack This spool of English Superfine is a little different than most - it's on a square spool. It's a cream color and there are 3 yards remaining on the spool. The first few inches are a bit dusty, else clean & in good condition. Buy the whole 3-yard spool, for $5.00.
	Duro White Stay Tape This roll of Duro Stay tape is still sealed in the cellophane. It's a white, 5/8" wide twill tape. Though this spool is unused, the cellophane is broken in places. The spool was stored by its original owner for many years and has gotten somewhat soiled; you'll want to launder the tape after opening. Buy the whole 3-yard spool, for $2.50. SOLD
	Royal White Wash Tape This roll of Royal Wash Tape is still sealed in the cellophane. It's a white, 5/8" wide twill tape. In new condition. Buy the whole 3-yard spool. SOLD
	Red English Superfine Twilled Tape - 5/8 inch A full, unused spool of 5/8" inch English Superfine Twilled Tape. All of the original 4 yards are there (actually 4 yards, 10 inches) on the paper spool. It's a bold, rich red - a very hard-to-find color in vintage twill tape. SOLD
	English Superfine Narrow Black Twilled Tape This black twilled tape is a skinny 1/4 inch and is still on its original wooden spool. Two yards, 3 inches remain. The spool's labels are chipped, but the tape is in excellent condition. Buy the whole spool, for $3.25.
	White English Superfine Twilled Tape This creamy white twilled tape is still on the spool, with the original "Lit Brothers" price sticker showing 3 / 25 cents. It's half an inch wide. In very good condition. There are a few pin holes where the original owner secured it, and the outer layer (about the first 10 inches) is somewhat soiled; this will probably launder out. There are 3 yards, 14 inches on the spool. SOLD 1
	Extra Superfine White Twilled Tape This off-white, 5/8" wide twill tape is still on the original spool and measures 1 yard, 24 inches. Some pinholes & soiling where the original owner secured it with a pin (which got a bit rusty). The first 8.5" shows soiling from long-term storage; you'll want to launder this. Cost reflects condition. Buy the whole spool, for $3.00.
	Black English Superfine Twilled Tape - 5/8 inch Roll of Black English Superfine Twilled Tape, 5/8" wide. The spool originally contained 4 yards, and 3 yards, 2 feet are still here. SOLD
	Warren's English Superfine Twilled Tape Here is a full roll - still in the wrapping - of Warren's Twilled Tape, English Superfine, No. 7376. It is off-white, and 1/4" inch wide. Still wrapped in the original tissue with labels, it is unused and ready for your restoration projects or collection. The paper has torn in several places along the edges, and there is some slight soiling to the tape in those spots. Else in fine unused condition. There are 7 yards on the roll. SOLD
	English Superfine - Warranted Twilled Tape Here is a partial roll of very old ivory white twill tape, still on the spool which originally held 7 yards. Measures 1/2" inch wide, and 1 yard, 20 inches in length. Unused and in good condition; there are a few pinholes where original owner secured it with a pin. Shows an occasionally pin-size brown spot & a trace of soiling at edge. SOLD
	Goff's Braid - On Spool Here is a little spool of Goff's Braid. It is a natural beige color that reminds me of the color of "nude" pantyhose. The wooden spool, which is marked Goff's Braid 19, has an ingenious little metal device that keeps the braid from unspooling on its own. There are 31 inches of 5/8" inch braid on the spool. However, there are tiny nibbles at the edge, every few inches. So, if you need a long, perfect length, this would probably be better suited as a collectible rather than to use.
